Stavic back in NZ

New models

SsangYong NZ has just released the re-styled Stavic eight-seater, with both 2WD and 4WD versions available, and an entry price just under $40,000.

Described as a crossover between an SUV and a MPV, the Stavic is stylish but versatile and spacious.
The new Stavic has an economical latest-generation 2-litre turbo-diesel engine matched with a smooth-shifting Mercedes-Benz automatic transmission with winter mode. It’s got 2,500kg towing capacity. Other specifications include factory tinted windows, leatherette interior, reversing sensors, Bluetooth and auto climate control.
It comes in two model variations – the Stavic Sports 2WD from $39,990 and the Stavic SPR 4WD at $44,990.
As well as having the ability to carry eight people comfortably, the back row of seats in the Stavic can be folded down or fully removed for extended cargo space. The back row and middle row of seats can also lay flat or can be converted into makeshift beds.
The Stavic complements the other Ssangyong models in the range including the Korando (compact SUV), Rexton (seven-seater SUV) and Actyon Sports (double cab ute).
