Last year saw an overall rationalisation of most manufacturer’s ranges in New Zealand, with a number of them quietly dropping slow-selling models. However, a surprising number of all new models introduced has taken up the space. This is particularly noticeable in the medium segment and the SUV segment, both of which have expanded this year, while the rapid reduction of models across the large car segment of the last few years has largely leveled off now.
