19-year old Madeline Stewart will don a slick red, black and white livery on her Brad Jones Racing Commodore as Boss Air Suspension secures naming rights for 2020.
Boss Air Suspension is a true success story.
The company has come from humble beginnings in a small factory in Queensland in the 1990s, to a global company with manufacturing and distribution around the world today.
With more than 1,500 dealers and resellers across Australia and New Zealand, Boss delivers world leading load assist kits, compressors and air suspension components for trailers, machinery, custom cars and – light commercial utilities.
The days of having a dedicated work vehicle and personal car at home for the weekend are gone, in no small part instigated by vehicle manufacturers when the plush double cabs stepped up and could become a 4/5-seater weekend family car.
Today, we load the ute during the week for work and empty it for the weekend. If you have decided to install heavier springs for the laden days, your ride becomes hard and bouncy when emptied.
Also, when your vehicle is loaded and you are only on factory springs, which have sagged a bit, allowing the rear to drop, the vehicle weight balance is upset and your front suspension does not engage fully. This could mean your front wheels are light on the road and steering is compromised.
Boss Airbags offer the adjustability you need, letting you adapt to the load in/on the vehicle, giving you a similar ride with 500kg loaded or just two kids in the back seat.
And with the announcement of sponsoring a young and upcoming V8 driver, the Boss Air Suspension name is going to take its place in the trans-Tasman automotive landscape.
CEO of Boss Global, Dave Mason, is proud to back talented, young athlete Madeline Stewart.
“We are delighted to be able to support an ambitious up and coming driver, working to be successful on the global stage. We wish Madeline the very best for the season.”
Stewart heads into her second year in V8 Touring Cars (formally Super3) with 10 years of racing under her belt. The promising young star shows huge potential and is one of only a few female drivers coming up the ranks.
Growing mentally and personally as a driver, Madeline is prepped and ready for the next step in her career, “I’m really looking forward to the 2020 season, as I have learnt a lot throughout my first year in cars,” said Stewart.
“2019 was full of challenges and hurdles to overcome. I had to find my feet and get my head around different aspects of racing, but I feel like I have grown and ready to tackle the new season.
“BJR is a fantastic team to be a part of and we all work really well and hard to continue to progress. I’m thrilled to be doing another season with the team. To have the backing of Boss Air Suspension is awesome and I’m proud to have them on the car along with VT Advisory.”
Madeline’s dedicated work ethic is a standout attribute that team owner Brad Jones appreciates, “As Madeline heads into her second year of V8 Touring Cars, it’s a great opportunity for her to capitalise on all the knowledge she’s gained in her first season,” Jones said.
“Our sole focus this year is to help Madeline be the very best that she can be and if we can assist her to do that, then we’ll be at the pointy end of the field.”
The #8 Boss Air Suspension Holden Commodore is ready to line up on the grid once racing resumes and Madeline and BJR have their sights set on some strong results.
