With a little over two weeks until the keynote address from Sir Graham Henry, here’s hoping you have secured your ticket(s) to the biggest event on the fleet manager’s calendar for 2023 – Fleet Day Hamilton 2023, powered by EROAD and the Waikato Regional Council.
If you only attend one event this year, make sure it is THIS one: Fleet Day 2023.
Matt Fontein, marketing manager for EROAD, says the Fleet Day just keeps getting better as time goes on. “Barring the glitch with Covid, the Fleet Day has been a growing success and now in its eighth year, we’re looking at the biggest event yet, with exhibitors, fleet suppliers and sponsors asking to be a part of the most anticipated live conference for the fleet industry as a whole.”
Last year’s event confirmed that 100 percent of show goers would recommend Fleet Day to others and given 2022’s attendees were double the expected number, that would be around 600 people suggesting this event is the one to make the time for.
With its underlying theme centring around road safety, sustainability and fleet efficiency underpinned by data and technologies, the scope of this year’s Fleet Day is positively huge.
“Between the exhibitors and the split heavy fleet and light fleet speaking forums,” says Matt, “Fleet Day 2023 will examine topics like driver safety trends and solutions, sustainability in practice, emerging technologies, fleet optimisation, EV strategies, charging networks and much more besides.”
Speaking to these topics is a diverse selection of 20-plus expert industry speakers ready to take to the stage to share their knowledge, insights and experience with fleet decision makers who will also have an unparalleled opportunity to network with those in similar positions but from diverse industries and organisations.
“What we have built,” explains Matt, “is an industry-focused event, with relevant information and expert commentary in digestible presentations with plenty of networking ‘breathing space’ for attendees to experience a showcase of the latest in light and heavy transport products and services which highlight the ‘fun factor’ of working in the transport sector.”
EROAD has plenty of positive feedback from last year’s event, but this comment summarised what most would have taken away from the 2022 event:
“Highlight of the day has been the insight as to where the industry is moving and some of the technologies that are looking to help us move forward with that progression.”
A full list of speakers and their selected presentations is available on the https://www.fleetday.co.nz/ website which is also where you can find ticket information, a local map to the Claudelands venue and an idea of what to expect for first time Fleet Day attendees.
Fleet Day 2023 is a full day event with a prompt 8.30am start time on the 26th July, 2023 at the Claudelands Events Centre in Hamilton.
