FleetPartners achieves fourth consecutive year of Toitū net carbonzero certification

Fleet Management

FleetPartners, is proud to announce that it has achieved its
fourth consecutive year of Toitū net carbonzero certification in New Zealand.

This certification - which covers their corporate operations including Scope 1, 2 and certain upstream
Scope 3 emissions - demonstrates FleetPartners’ ongoing commitment to reducing its environmental
impact and taking meaningful steps toward a low-carbon future.

Russell Webber, Managing Director, FleetPartners New Zealand, says: “As New Zealand’s
leading vehicle leasing and mobility solutions provider, we recognise our responsibility to drive
sustainable change within our own operations and to help our customers do the same. This milestone
reflects four years of continuous improvement, transparency, and real progress toward our goal of
zero Scope 1 & 2 emissions by 2030.”

The Toitū net carbonzero program provides internationally recognised verification that an organisation
has measured, managed, and reduced its greenhouse gas emissions, and offset any remaining
emissions to achieve a net zero position within the certification reporting boundary. Certification is
independently audited each year in line with ISO 14064-1 and Toitū requirements.

Since beginning its sustainability journey in 2021, FleetPartners New Zealand has implemented a
range of initiatives to reduce emissions across its business operations. This includes transitioning its
company fleet to low and zero-emission vehicles, supporting employees to adopt sustainable
practices in the workplace, and establishing renewable energy procurement for its office locations.
These initiatives have helped drive a 67% reduction in their Scope 1 & 2 emissions against an FY22
baseline.

FleetPartners is also active in supporting New Zealand businesses to lower their fleet emissions.
FleetPartners’ ‘5 Step Journey to Carbon Zero’ program continues to guide customers through their
own fleet decarbonisation transitions; from measurement and planning through to implementation and
reporting. The company’s approach empowers businesses to make data-led decisions that reduce
emissions while maintaining financial efficiency.
