Hale Automotive much more than canopies

Vehicle Fitout

Hale Automotive has been around for a long time, whilst their range of Alpha Canopies might be front of mind, they are much more than that.

Their real speciality is full project management of the fitout of LCV’s for fleets (vans and utes). They can supply most of the equipment directly, but also work with a number of trusted third-party suppliers, who come to their sites in Auckland and Wellington to fit items such as GPS tracking systems and signage.

This saves time due to not having to move the vehicle around multiple locations. This service provides fleets and lease companies with a true one-stop shop for all van and ute fitout work, reducing hassle and saving both time and money.

They have also recently had some changes to key personnel with Jon Blewett taking on the role of National Manager – Automotive Division. Jon probably needs no introduction with 10 years’ experience in the fitout industry and a further 10 years in the automotive area.

In Wellington, Richard Pollock is the new Regional Manager, coming from Gazley Motors. The Wellington branch has also recently moved to new premises. Jon and Richard provide new insights and energy to an already successful program.

Hale’s Alpha Canopy range is still their hero. The CMX, for example, is their commercial canopy with solid fibreglass construction, large gull wing side doors with slam locking facility, integrated roof rack mounting tracks, lateral roof water drains to avoid water runoff when opening the rear door and side windows and central locking that integrates with the vehicle remote.

The Alpha canopy is clamp-on which avoids any refurbishment to the vehicle and facilitates reuse if desired. They also have their own alloy Service Body range to suit single, extra and double cab ute variants, these can be fitted out with underbody drawers and internal drawers and shelves as needed.

They can also supply all the other fitout options ranging from seat covers to full racking and shelving systems, spray ute liners, towbars, roof racks, toolboxes, emergency lighting, ute lids, tonneaus and more.

The fitouts they project manage can range from a simple shelving and roof rack set up for a van through a well-equipped service body on a ute chassis to high end van conversions with full office or workshop fitouts.v
