If your fleet don’t fit – Auto Transform it!

Vehicle Fitout

There’s something about the start of a new year. There’s hope in the air, change in the wind and yet some things – constant things – are just getting better.

Take auto fitout specialist Auto Transform for example. This is a company which for over 30 years has grown and helped business fleets improve their efficiency through transformative upgrades to their vehicles and improved the range of products and services it offers along the way.

Fleets are built up of all sorts of vehicles, some of which are obviously commercially focused – vans, light trucks and utility vehicles – but there are also fleets which have adopted SUVs and people movers more associated with passenger duties.

From Auto Transform’s perspective, the more diverse the fleet, the more critical Auto Transform’s services are since fleets should first and foremost be fit-for-purpose.

Just about every vehicle you buy/lease will require some form of customisation to help your vehicles, your people and your business move smarter.

And this is where Auto Transform comes into its own. Auto Transform takes design, build and deliver to a whole new level than what Kiwi businesses are used to.

It starts with the planning, working with the customer to understand what the requirements are, where the vehicles are expected to operate, what they will carry and how to store it efficiently.

Then comes product selection. At Auto Transform, much of what’s needed will be off-the-shelf for the fitting out of utes, vans, buses, trucks up to seven tonnes and speciality mobility vehicles as well as a growing number of SUVs and service body trailer units.

Sometimes however, there is bespoke work to be done and this is also something Auto Transform knows more than a little about – suggesting solutions based on the company’s years of experience.

From then it’s a factory-style production process that is the envy of any automaker. There are no robots here, just a crew of over 72 enthusiastic and dedicated – we would say Transformers, but they are more like craftspeople – handling the welding, joinery, upholstering, shelving, flooring, lighting and anything else the work order documentation calls for.

It doesn’t stop after the vehicle has been fully set up and collected either. After the vehicle(s) have been out doing what they do, Auto Transform will be in touch for any fine tuning which might need taking care of.

“Making sure what we have done is exactly what the customer wants or needs is a crucial part of what we do,” says general manager Daniel Stanners.

“The Auto Transform business is built on over 30 years of exacting standards, attention to detail and customer satisfaction. You can only ensure customer satisfaction if you’re willing to back up your product and service after its out doing what it should be doing for you. We’re prepared to do that.”

Experience, quality proven product, solutions-focused and efficient. Sounds like Auto Transform should be your first port of call when it comes to a fit-for-purpose fleet.
