It's time for a Daily update

New models, Workhorse

IVECO Daily E6 continues a long tradition of strength, durability, versatility and operator comfort.

IVECO’s already brilliant Daily van has just been made better.
Available in panel van and cab chassis configurations, the E6 Daily has seen a significant upgrade with a strong focus on occupant safety, cabin appointment and reduced emissions.
In terms of cargo space Daily’s offer volume capacities of 12m³, 16m³, 18m³ and a market-leading 19.6m³, with single or dual wheel configurations.
GVM ratings run from the passenger car licence-friendly 3500 to 6000kg range through to the impressive, and market leading 7,000kg, providing generous payload capacity.
Braked towing capacity range-wide is 3,500kg (aside from 35S van which is limited to 3,200kg), providing added flexibility for owners who need to tow a trailer.
IVECO’s Daily is a truly international brand offering versatility and customisation.
Across the cab chassis range, the new Daily E6 covers 50C and 70C models and includes Dual Cab variants. Cab Chassis GVM options start at 5,200kg and extend to 5,600kg, 6000kg, 7,000kg and 7,200kg. There are also multiple wheelbase choices, to accommodate a wide selection of body types.
Cab Chassis models are also available with Power Take-Off (PTO) and expansion module options (expansion modules are also available for vans), allowing body builders to equip these models with more sophisticated bodies.
Depending on the application, owners can also specify an optional rear differential lock and Electronically Controlled Air Suspension (ECAS) across both van and cab chassis variants.
IVECO’s E6 engines conform to stringent European emission levels and increasing power and fuel efficiency at the same time, with figures showing up to a 10 percent reduction in fuel consumption, compared to the outgoing units.
There are three engines, starting with the flexible 2.3 litre, direct injection and intercooled diesel which produces 100 kW (136hp) and 350 Nm (only available in 35S van).
Next, is a 3.0 litre, direct injection engine that outputs 132kW (180hp) and 430 Nm.
And the top-of-the-range engine is a direct injection 3.0 litre variant, which can be selected across all van and cab chassis models – this engine develops an impressive 155kW (210hp) and 470Nm.
Drivers have a choice between the self-shifting six-speed or the critically acclaimed Hi-Matic eight-speed fully automatic with sequential availability for greater control and the ‘Eco’ and ‘Power’ mode functions.
In keeping with contemporary safety requirements, IVECO’s existing front and rear disc brakes with ABS, Electronic Stability Program and four airbags, adds Advanced Emergency Braking System (AEBS), Hill Descent Control, Traction Plus and Crosswind Assist. Oh, and something called ESP9.
ESP9 is the umbrella term for enhanced stability control technologies. ESP9 adds Anti-Slip Regulator, Drag Torque Control, Hill Hold Control, Enhanced Under-Steering Control, Adaptive Load Control, Trailer Sway Mitigation, Hydraulic Rear-wheel Boost, Hydraulic Fading Compensation, Roll Movement Intervention and Roll Over Mitigation to the package – all as standard.
And if that wasn’t enough IVECO has made Lane Departure Warning System (LDWS), full LED headlamps, Active Cruise Control, City Brake and Queue Assist available as either stand-alone options or as part of ‘Pack’ option upgrades.
To this, Daily E6 introduces a new, high-resolution colour TFT instrument cluster featuring seven dedicated screen menus providing over 100 points of information. A new ‘Hi-Connect’ multimedia and navigation system enables, Bluetooth, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, plus GPS by TomTom.
Cordless inductive charging for cellphones and other devices is available as an option as is the specification for a dash-mounted electronic parking brake switch, which engages automatically at key-off and disengages once the driver’s seat belt is on, the key is on and ‘drive’ selected (neutral for manual models).
Daily E6 is backed by a three-year / 200,000km warranty with optional extended warranties of up to five years available for added peace of mind. The range also features a generous 12 month / 50,000 kilometre service intervals helping achieve low total cost of ownership for customers.
