Kia New Zealand introduces their best EV ownership offer yet

News

During a time of skyrocketing petrol prices, Kia has announced an industry leading initiative designed to make getting behind the wheel of a new Kia electric vehicle even easier.

“Now is the best time to sign up for a Kia EV, especially when fluctuating fuel prices continue to make new vehicle ownership more difficult for Kiwis. As a long time trusted brand in New Zealand, Kia has tailored our electric range to meet our customers needs,” said Managing Director of Kia New Zealand, Todd McDonald.

“We’re taking the initiative to encourage upgrading to a Kia EV by removing many of the concerns of ownership. By providing a complete ownership package with a complimentary three-year / 45,000km Service Plan, covering on-road costs, 45,000km road-user charges and contributing to charging costs for three years, we are confident this initiative can support New Zealanders and make EV ownership easier.”

Commencing at the start of April for three months, customers will be able to sign-up for the initiative at participating dealers.
“Kia New Zealand won the 2025 Roy Morgan ‘Best of the Best’ award for Customer Satisfaction and this EV3/ EV5 plus Service Plan initiative enhances the brand’s reputation of trust and credibility,” said Mr McDonald.

“We appreciate that times are challenging at the moment, but the need for clean, economical and accessible motoring doesn’t stop. We hope that these new initiatives can help introduce many more Kiwis to a sustainable and cost effective way to meet their mobility requirements.”
