Lexus has announced that its new premium hybrid SUV, the NX, will be available in New Zealand next month (October).
The NX features signature Lexus design details such as the aggressive “spindle” grille and intricate, emotive LED headlight clusters (including distinctive L-shaped daytime running lights).
Along the flanks, robust overfenders tucked inside subtly flared arches give the NX a bold stance.
Dramatic lines run the length of the SUV, drawing the eye to another Lexus hallmark; the tapered arrow-like window line recessed into the c-pillar. A two-level spoiler adds a unique design element to the rear, as well as improves aerodynamics.
“The fantastic looking NX makes a bold statement and is guaranteed to turn heads,” says Lexus New Zealand general manager of product, Neeraj Lala.
“There’s simply no other premium compact SUV on New Zealand roads that comes close in terms of combining sumptuous specification, cutting-edge design and practical packaging. We think of this nimble, fun-to-drive crossover as the definitive SUV in its class.
“What’s more, with a comprehensive line-up on offer there’s an NX for every lifestyle, ensuring an entirely new audience will discover the Lexus brand.”
The NX range incorporates Lexus’ proven hybrid technology and, for the first time, an all-new turbo petrol engine.
There is a choice of front or all-wheel drive, as well as the opportunity to enjoy the advanced performance-orientate design accents of F Sport and the luxury detailing of Limited grades.
The NX debuts in New Zealand in October.
