Audi is proud to introduce the third-generation Audi Q3 - an evolution of a well-established bestseller in the premium compact segment. For over a decade, the Q3 has been a favourite among drivers seeking a balance of luxury, versatility, and performance. Now, the latest generation – due to arrive in New Zealand in April 2026 - sets new benchmarks in design, technology, and efficiency. Following the successful launch of the new Q5 range, Audi is experiencing a strong upward trend.

Greg Leet, General Manager of Audi New Zealand, says the arrival of the new Q3 comes at a pivotal moment for the brand. “The launch of the new Q5 has driven a remarkable surge in sales, surpassing all sales records since the model’s New Zealand debut. Now, we’re excited to introduce the new Q3, a long-awaited addition to our lineup that customers have been anticipating for over seven years. With its competitive entry price and strong market appeal, we’re confident the Q3 will deliver a similarly strong performance.”

Packed with innovative features, the new Audi Q3 is designed to be a smart digital companion, offering enhanced comfort and safety for both drivers and other road users. Available in both SUV and Sportback variants, the Q3 also delivers impressive efficiency with a plug-in hybrid SUV model offering an electric range of up to 111 km.

The Audi Q3 range The new Audi Q3 range offers a versatile lineup of powertrains and body styles to suit a variety of driving preferences. The entry-level model is the front-wheel-drive Q3 SUV, powered by a 1.5-litre TFSI four-cylinder engine delivering 110 kW and 250 Nm. Equipped with mild hybrid technology, a seven-speed S tronic transmission, and Audi’s cylinder-on-demand (COD) system—which temporarily deactivates cylinders under low to medium loads to reduce fuel consumption—this model is sharply priced from $74,990 (excluding on-road costs).

For those seeking more power, the 2.0-litre TFSI engine produces 195 kW and 400 Nm of torque, paired with Audi’s quattro all-wheel drive system. This variant starts from $96,990* for the SUV and $99,990* for the Sportback.

Completing the range is the new Audi Q3 SUV e-hybrid, which combines a 1.5 TFSI engine (130 kW) with an electric motor for a total system output of 200 kW and 400 Nm. A high-voltage battery with a gross capacity of 25.7 kWh—nearly double that of the previous generation—enables an electric range of up to 111 km in the WLTP test cycle. Under ideal conditions, it can charge with up to 50 kW DC. The Q3 e-hybrid is priced from $88,990. The sports suspension with two-valve damper control comes as standard across the range allowing for a more balanced driving experience.
