Thought Ford had peaked with Everest?

News

Ford New Zealand has announced changes to the Everest line up, confirming the first-ever Everest Wildtrak is coming in July 2023 and customers can now also opt for the Everest Sport with the popular 2.0L Bi-Turbo powertrain.

The Everest Sport Bi-Turbo is available for delivery from March 2023 and has a RRP of $77,990*.

Introducing the Everest Wildtrak

The Everest Wildtrak enters the line-up with exclusive exterior and interior detailing and finishes, advanced technologies, and a comprehensive suite of driver assistance systems.

“The 2022 Everest set new standards for performance, comfort and versatility in the seven-seat, mid-sized SUV segment,” said David Grice, Chief Program Engineer for Ranger and Everest. “Now, we’re giving customers all that, wrapped in an SUV that looks as comfortable pulling up outside a hip hotel as it does on the trails.”

Ford’s popular Wildtrak DNA – born in Ranger and elevated with the next-gen model – blends tough-truck credentials with family-friendly comforts.

The Everest Wildtrak helps customers take on everyday challenges and adventures, answering the call for even more style and off-road attitude in an SUV.

The Everest Wildtrak’s exterior builds on the muscular and athletic lines of the Everest family by dialing in a sporty sophistication. It will also be available in Luxe Yellow, the first time this colour has been offered on Everest and unique to the Wildtrak only.

The Everest Wildtrak’s unique grille and bumper help create a dynamic first impression, supported by 20-inch alloy wheels with Bolder Grey detailing.

Stylish and functional side steps feature steel inserts, while the alloy stand-off roof rails add a purposeful look and extra practicality for touring adventures.

Wildtrak logos are included on the front doors, tailgate, and bonnet/hood.

Inside, the Everest Wildtrak blends a luxurious leather-trimmed cabin with clever tech that is designed to make life easier and more convenient for owners.

The high-tech cockpit is defined by the 12.4-inch fully digital instrument cluster and the portrait-oriented 12-inch touchscreen that controls Ford’s powerful SYNC® 4A infotainment system.

Everest Wildtrak also features a ten-speaker stereo system and wireless device charging as standard and supports wireless Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto™.

The Everest Family
The Everest Wildtrak opens new possibilities for Everest customers looking for an adventure-ready SUV with bold styling, advanced technologies, and a comprehensive suite of driver assistance systems. The addition of the 2.0L Bi-Turbo powertrain engine provides the Everest Sport customer with the choice of two engines.

Additional Everest Wildtrak specifications and pricing will be available closer to arrival.
