Van of the Year 2024 - The All-New 2025 Peugeot E-Expert

News

Thanks to the arguably turbulent times we live in of late, the launch/release of new vehicles on to New Zealand’s commercial vehicle car lots this year have been somewhat subdued. However, one model that has been on our radar for a while, landed just in time for the awards – and that model is the Peugeot e-Expert.

The 2025 Peugeot E-Expert encapsulates everything that modern businesses seek in a commercial vehicle, particularly as the push for sustainability accelerates. As a fully electric van, the E-Expert offers an impressive combination of range, performance, and cutting-edge technology, making it the ideal choice for businesses keen on embracing a greener future while maximising productivity.

At the heart of the E-Expert is either a 75 or 100kWh battery that provides an impressive range of up to 350km on a single charge (WLTP cycle), ensuring that the E-Expert can meet the demands of most urban and regional operations without the anxiety of frequent recharging. While the electric motor delivers 100kW of power and a hefty 270Nm of torque, enabling effortless acceleration and agility in bustling city traffic.

The Peugeot E-Expert doesn’t just excel under the hood; it also impresses with its sleek, modern design. Retaining the aesthetic appeal of the Expert range, the van presents a bold and professional visage and three-side accessibility, while maintaining urban-friendly dimensions, whether in ‘medium’ or ‘long’ wheelbase footprints.

Inside, the E-Expert offers a thoughtfully laid-out cabin featuring durable materials that can withstand the rigours of a working environment. Comfort and practicality are clearly prioritised, with ample storage solutions, an ergonomic driving position, and high-quality finishes that create an inviting workspace for drivers on long hauls. There’s also space for three.

The technological features of the E-Expert showcase Peugeot’s commitment to staying at the forefront of innovation. The impressive 10-inch touchscreen infotainment system comes standard with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, enabling seamless connectivity for drivers. Additional technology, like Bluetooth, navigation, and multiple USB ports, ensures that everyone on board remains connected and productive.

Safety is paramount in today’s driving landscape, and the E-Expert excels with its comprehensive suite of advanced driver-assistance systems. Features such as automatic emergency braking, adaptive cruise control, lane-keeping assistance, and front and rear parking sensors enhance the driving experience.

The 2025 Peugeot E-Expert represents the epitome of what modern businesses require from their commercial vehicles: efficiency, versatility, and a commitment to sustainability. Range, advanced technology, and robust safety features come together to create a van that not only meets the demands of today but also anticipates the needs of tomorrow.

For these reasons, we are proud to present the 2025 Peugeot E-Expert with the Company Vehicle – Van of the Year 2024 award.
