Running hot on the success of the MG4, the Chinese automaker unveiled its new MG3 recently in Geneva and yes, it is coming to New Zealand later this year.
However, the new MG3 will no longer be a sub-$20k car as the current model is.
With advanced technologies and improved safety and specification levels, which the company describes as ‘world-class’ and ‘all-new’, MG New Zealand has confirmed that there will be a price increase for the 2024 model.
In saying this – and reiterating the current MG3 is reaching the end of its lifecycle, the company suggests now is the best time to buy a brand-new car for the price of a used one.
Presently, the current MG3 has a current RRP of $20,490 + on-road costs, but there is a $1000 factory bonus promotion attached to all existing MG3’s resulting in a sub-$20,000 purchase price plus ORCs.
