Kia’s all-electric Kia EV9 has landed not just one, but two Finalist spots in the World Car Awards for 2024.
Positioned in two categories – World Car of the Year and World Electric Vehicle – the Korean automaker’s first dedicated three-row SUV has a very good chance of global award recognition.
The World Car Awards are judged by over 100 motoring journalists from around the world. These awards are not to be taken lightly, recognising and celebrating outstanding achievements in the automotive industry.
The EV9 has secured its finalist spot through its bold and modern design, the latest in EV technology, exceptional versatility, and generous space for all occupants.
Should the EV9 claim victory, it would not only add to the vehicle’s already comprehensive awards list, but to Kia’s as well – the brand has previously secured World Car of the Year in 2020 and 2023.
The final winners for this year will be announced at the World Car Awards ceremony during the 2024 New York International Auto Show on March 27, 2024.
