Nissan launches Nissan MORE Ownership Program with New Zealand’s Only 10 Year / 300,000km Warranty

Nissan today announces that the Nissan MORE Ownership Program is now available to New Zealand customers*, a comprehensive initiative designed to deliver peace of mind, cost certainty, and long-term value across the Nissan range.

Headlined by New Zealand’s only 10 Year / 300,000 kilometer warranty —when servicing with Nissan—the Nissan MORE Ownership Program brings together three integrated benefits:
● Service Activated Warranty ^ - Up to 10 Years / 300,000 KM Warranty (whichever comes
first).
● Service Activated Roadside Assistance - Up to 10 Years / 300,000 KM Warranty
(whichever comes first).
● Flat Price Servicing - First 5 scheduled services from Manufacturer's Warranty start date

Available exclusively through authorised Nissan New Zealand dealers, the Nissan MORE program reinforces the brand’s commitment to the market, rewarding customer loyalty and delivering industry-leading ownership support.

A New Standard in Long-Term Ownership Confidence
At the heart of the Nissan MORE Ownership Program is Nissan New Zealand’s Service Activated Warranty, extending standard coverage from five years / 150,000 kilometers to up to 10 years / 300,000 kilometers (whichever comes first), simply by maintaining scheduled servicing within the Nissan dealer network. ^

All parts and components covered under Nissan’s New Vehicle Warranty remain protected, excluding normal wear and tear, providing customers with confidence well beyond the traditional warranty period. Key activation requirements are that each vehicle must have all logbook services completed at authorized Nissan dealers and services must be completed within scheduled intervals (or within 60 days/3,000km of scheduled interval.)

For Nissan electric vehicles, the program complements existing coverage, including an eight-year / 160,000km (whichever comes first) lithium-ion battery capacity State of Health Warranty, protecting against capacity loss below nine bars.

Rewarding Loyalty – And Welcoming Customers Back
In a move that recognises long-term Nissan ownership, the Nissan MORE Ownership Program also offers a backdated warranty extension for eligible vehicles purchased new from 1 January 2023. Loyal customers who have completed all scheduled services with Nissan dealers automatically qualify for extended warranty coverage, with no additional steps required.

For owners who have serviced their vehicle outside the Nissan network, a re-entry opportunity is available by returning for a Scheduled Service, and a Nissan MORE Vehicle Assessment at an additional cost of $99 via any authorised Nissan dealer.

This inclusive approach ensures both loyal and returning customers can access the same protection, with a pathway back into program for customers who serviced elsewhere.

“We’re thrilled to bring the Nissan MORE Ownership Program to New Zealand,” said Michael Hill, Director Aftersales, Nissan Oceania. “This program delivers industry-leading peace of mind, cost certainty, and long-term value for our customers, whether they’re new owners or have been part of the Nissan family since 2023.

By extending warranty coverage, roadside assistance, and fixed-price servicing, we’re rewarding loyalty and making ownership simpler and more predictable than ever.”

“This program isn’t just for new cars — it also adds value when it comes time to sell, as the warranty is fully transferable to the next owner, supporting future resale value,” Mr Hill said.

Up to 10 Years of 24/7 Roadside Assistance
From 1 April 2026, Nissan customers can also unlock up to 10 years / 300,000 kilometers of Service Activated Roadside Assistance, renewed annually with each eligible dealer service. +Coverage includes 24/7 nationwide support such as emergency assistance, battery jump-starts, flat tyre changes, fuel delivery, lost key assistance, and towing to the nearest
authorised Nissan dealer.

Electric vehicle owners benefit from additional EV-specific support, including battery charging assistance or towing to the nearest authorised EV service centre.Flat Price Servicing for Cost Certainty

The Nissan MORE Ownership Program also introduces Flat Price Servicing, offering transparent, fixed pricing for the first five scheduled services on eligible vehicles.

“Our comprehensive Flat Price Servicing program is a direct response to customer feedback — we’ve listened and acted.
“When customers service with a Nissan dealer, they can have confidence that their vehicle is protected under our Nissan Customer Service Promise. Each car is serviced by factory-trained technicians using only Nissan genuine parts, ensuring the best care over the long term,” Mr Hill said.

Flat price servicing covers labour, genuine parts, lubricants and standard scheduled maintenance under normal driving conditions, removing uncertainty and helping customers plan ownership costs with confidence.

The Nissan MORE Ownership Program combines warranty protection, roadside assistance, and servicing transparency into a single, transferable solution, designed to make ownership simple, predictable, and rewarding
Key customer benefits include:
● Peace of mind with New Zealand’s only 10 year / 300,000km (whichever comes first)
warranty ^ when servicing with Nissan
● Cost certainty through fixed-price servicing
● Convenience with 24/7 roadside assistance nationwide
● Enhanced resale value supported by documented Nissan dealer service history

By rewarding customers who service with Nissan, the MORE Ownership Program sets a new benchmark for long-term ownership value in the New Zealand market. Nissan MORE is available exclusively on eligible vehicles sold through authorized Nissan New Zealand dealers.
