Volkswagen New Zealand proudly introduces the all-new Tayron - our most adaptable SUV yet. Designed to meet the needs of modern Kiwi lifestyles, the Tayron offers generous space, advanced comfort and the freedom to live large.

The all-new nameplate is made in Wolfsburg and completes a compelling SUV line-up. Replacing the outgoing Tiguan Allspace, the Tayron delivers more space, more style and more performance than ever.

The Tayron’s bold exterior features sculpted lines, stylish 19 or 20-inch alloy wheels and illuminated VW logos at the front and rear that create a distinctive signature light at night. Sleek LED headlights in the Tayron and IQ. Light matrix LED headlights in the R-Line model, enhances visibility and safety.

Available in Elegance and R-Line variants, the all-new Tayron combines premium design with confident performance. Both models feature a 4-cylinder turbo petrol engine for responsive, efficient driving, 4MOTION all-wheel drive for traction and safety in all conditions, and a 7-speed DSG transmission for smooth, effortless gear changes. The R-Line delivers up to 195kW and 400Nm of torque, ideal for overtaking and towing, while the Elegance offers a refined 150kW and 320Nm
which is perfect for everyday driving.

The Tayron prioritises safety with Volkswagen’s most advanced features included as standard to support the driver in everyday moments. From full airbag coverage to smart systems like Front Cross Traffic Alert and Oncoming Vehicle Braking, the Tayron helps you stay alert and confident in busy traffic situations. Dynamic Road Sign Display and Predictive Speed Limiter keep you in control, while the Emergency Assist offers reliability on those longer drives. Always keeping passenger safety front of mind, the Tayron also features a Proactive Occupant Protection System and three ISOFIX points make fitting child seats simple and secure, providing families with extra peace of mind.

Inside, the Tayron adapts with seating for up to seven and a roomy 850 litres of luggage space, or 1,905 litres with seats folded, providing ample space to enjoy the company of others while also filling the boot space. Premium finishes and 30-colour ambient lighting make every journey feel special, while the ergoActive ‘Varenna’ leather-appointed front seats with massage, heating, and ventilation are optional via the Touring Package on the Elegance variant and standard on the R-Line.
Keep the family entertained with the 12.9" or 15" colour touchscreen infotainment system and enjoy seamless connectivity, easy navigation and access to your media.

For an extra touch of luxury, an optional Touring Package adds a panoramic sunroof and Harman/Kardon premium sound system for immersive sound and light. For those seeking a more distinctive look, the R-Line’s optional Black Package adds bold black accents to the exterior, including gloss black trim on the bumpers, window surrounds, roof rails, and mirror housings, paired with 20-inch York alloy wheels in black for a confident, head-turning finish.

The Tayron is now available in dealerships nationwide, priced from $78,990 for the Elegance and $96,990 for the R-Line.
