At the heart of the Taikon’s innovation is its flexible electric architecture. The pure electric EV model delivers an estimated over 400km WLTP range on a single charge - ideal for daily urban commuting and zero-emissions driving.
For those seeking increased range capabilities, the Super Hybrid powertrain offers a combination of a petrol engine and electric with the ability for the user to choose. The Super Hybrid can also run solely on electric power for up to 183kms or a combined mode which can deliver a total range of more than 1,000km, eliminating any range anxiety and making long-distance travel effortless.

The Forthing Taikon range will be on sale and available for immediate delivery in New Zealand from 17 April 2026.
